YIT Lentek invites Scandinavian production companies planning to extend their operations to North-Western Russia to the Industrial park Greenstate in Leningrad Region (in close proximity to St. Petersburg City Ring Road).

The Third Annual Russian-Swedish Investment Forum was held on November 20th and 21st 2013 at the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Sweden. The main subject of the Forum this year became investments into energy efficiency and clean-tech, and it is no coincidence: on the one hand, Sweden has a reputation as one of the world leaders in clean-tech development and adoption. On the other hand, Russian participants express growing interest in the subject.

Besides the main event of the Forum — its plenary session, arranged at the Trade Representation on November 21st, the Russian participants took part in a series of introductory visits, seminars and negotiations with Swedish partners involved into clean-tech and energy efficiency.

Particularly, the Russian delegation visited office of Norra Djurgårdstaden Innovation Company and took part in the seminar devoted to construction project of new district of residential settlement and business quarter “Royal Sea Port of Stockholm”. This new Stockholm district is designed in the spirit of sustainable cities concept where cutting-edge technologies of energy efficiency and resource-saving are applied.

Energy company Fortum made a presentation of Intelligent Networks. During the meeting at the engineering and consulting company Sweco the Russian participants became familiar with a successful project of renovation of an old office building. During the Forum a visit to Lidingö municipality — one of the leading local governments in the field of resource-saving and environmental policy — was arranged. From the seminar arranged by Lidingö city hall the Russian participants learned about municipal efforts to increase energy efficiency and implementation of sustainable development solutions of municipal services.

During the Forum the Russian Trade Representation in Sweden organized and arranged several business missions, particularly, business mission of State Corporation — Fund of Assistance to Housing and Communal Services Reforms, Technopromimport (Federal State Unitary Enterprise), agricultural enterprises from Rostov region, meeting of the Russian-Swedish Business Council members.

The plenary session gathered about 80 participants including Deputy Director of the Department of Special Economic Zones and Regional Development Projects Vadim Tretyakov, Deputy Director of Export Financing Department of Vnesheconombank Daniil Algulyan, Executive Secretary of the Russian-Swedish Business Council Dmitry Suchkov, Vice-President of Ericsson Group Ulf Pehrsson, President of SveBio Association Gustav Melin, representatives of State Corporation — Fund of Assistance to Housing and Communal Services Reforms, representatives of Russian and Swedish companies, associations and mass-media. The plenary session included more than 20 presentations and speeches as well as a series of separate negotiations between Russian and Swedish participants.

1. Trigger for commercial proposal

Producer offers the high efficiency multiple-nutrient fertilizer the using of which improves agrochemical property of the land, land quality and increases the yield of the soil.

2. Product description

Biohumus is the product of composting using various worms, usually red wigglers, white worms.
Biohumus:

– accelerates the growth of crop yield by more than 1.5-2 times as well as reduces ripening terms by 7-14 days;
– fosters recultivation;
– accelerates biological recultivation of low-productive soil, eroded lands and degraded lands.
The products are certified, included into the State Register of the Customs Union products, comply with necessary technical specifications and undergo permanent laboratory investigations.
The company produces and delivers goods which are under the control of official veterinary according to the technical specifications: ТУ9819-001-92426008-20112.

3. Terms for the supply

On the 30th of October 2013 Russian Trade Representation in Sweden held the First International Conference “Prospects of the Localization of Automotive Components Production for Trucks and Commercial Vehicles in Russia”.

The event was organized primarily for the Swedish producers and suppliers of automotive components that are considering the possibility to establish industrial sites in Russia.

According to the Director of Scania purchasing team in Russia Bengt Aronsson, Russia is a big market, not sufficiently validated at the moment. Those companies that manage to open its production in Russia right now, will definitely benefit in the future.

Volvo Group Trucks Sales & Marketing Senior Vice President Marco Lazzoni was positive in his speech about the investment climate in Russia and the Volvo experience in localization of automotive components production.

FKG President Fredrik Sidahl noted that Swedish companies are positive about the work of the Russian Trade Representation in increasing the investment attractiveness of Russian regions and outreach among Swedish entrepreneurs to the modern features of doing business in Russia. Such events enable meetings with decision makers and personal discussions concerning the possibilities of organization of production and business in Russia. It helps to better understand the specifics of Russian regions and represents a unique opportunity for Swedish companies to obtain the necessary knowledge and to adequately assess the potential of the Russian market.


Mikhail Yurevich, Governor of Chelyabinsk Region

At the conference Governor of Chelyabinsk region Mikhail Yurevich delivered a speech about investments potential of the area.

“This is a forum not only for our entrepreneurs, who have come here from Chelyabinsk region, but also for the Swedish ones, who have traditionally supplied components for trucks from Sweden, so that they would localize in Russia. Legislation will soon change: imported equipment will face increased customs duties. Therefore, the Swedish companies themselves are trying to locate their production facilities in Russia. Our local car and truck producers need modern components as well”, – said the Governor about the results of the conference that took place in the Russian Trade Representation.

During the conference, the head of the region also held talks with the largest enterprises in Sweden – Scania, Volvo, SSAB, as well as the leadership of the FKG.
