Production and sales of pure drinking water on underground fresh waters of the Russkaya Bay deposit in volume of 3 mln. tn per year: The project has two stages: the 1st stage – additional prospecting of the deposit; equipment, installing and connecting of wellheads and construction of pipeline; construction of pier, realization of water by water carrying vessels(displacement 100 thousand tons).
The 2nd stage – Construction of a water bottling factory in the Russkaya Bay, in the port Sovetskaya Gavan and creating of joint venture for bottling water in Korea, Japan, China(capacity from 0,3 litre to 20 tons).

Brief description of the region where the project is to be realized

The deposit is located in the Russkaya Bay at the eastern coastline of Kamchatka peninsula, 100 kilometers south off Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky port. Water intake is located at the territory of South-Kamchatka nature park, far from settlements and industrial objects. This unique deposit has very high quality characteristics of underground fresh drinking waters, large capacity. Water carrying vessels of large displacement can be loaded directly from the deposit. Depths of the Russkaya Bay (up to 26 m in fairway) allow to load water carriers with displacement of up to 100thousand tons.

Availability of raw materials

Total reserve of underground fresh waters in the Russkaya Bay deposit is estimated as 100 thousand cubic meters per day.

Product to be manufactured (production capacity)

Production and realization of pure drinking water of underground fresh waters of the Russkaya Bay deposit in volume of 3 mln. tn per year:
-by water carrying vessels with displacement of up to 100 thousand tons;
-by bottling at the bottling factory with production capacity of over 35 million bottles per year.

Readiness of the project, expertise

OOO “Kamchatagropromproekt” in 2004 prepared estimates for water intake and water pipeline with capacity of 10 000 cubic meters per day. The license has been obtained for 25 years for geological research and taping of water. The draft has been worked out for geological research of the deposit. Five wells have been drilled. The design for construction of pier is being currently developed. The report on the results of water analyses has been received, showing that the water fully complies with standards SanPin 2.1.4.1074-01”Drinking Water” and with world standards. The deposit passed the defense in the State Committee of Defense of Deposits with the RF Ministry of Natural Resources.
Tract lease arrangement on construction of water pipeline with the water inlet and loading terminal was executed for 49 years.

Creation of innovative industrial complex for  producing nanodispersed silica dioxide (sol, nanopowders SiO2) from natural fluids of exciting geothermal power stations of Mutnovskiy deposits (Southern Kamchatka).

Technical plan includes the phase of membranous concentrating of water medium and obtaining a stable sol of SiO2.

The sol is cryochemically dried at very low temperatures, with following sublimation of ice under vacuum.

This provides a minimum motility of nanoparticles SiO2 and eventually getting weakly aggregated nanopowders with a specific surface of 500 m² / g, with a relatively low cost and energy output.

In general, project realization allows to combine the production of nanomaterials with geothermal energy production and provide the GeoPS electricity consumption.

Availability of raw materials

The Paratunka deposit was prospected in 1964-1968 with the purpose to be used for heat supply. The estimated capacity is 270 l/sec; average temperature – 77ºC. Upper-Paratunka deposit is located 10 km south from the Paratunka deposit, in the valley of the Paratunka river. The estimated capacity is also 270 l/sec. Thermal waters of the Paratunka hydrothermal system belong to low mineralized nitrogen alkaline therms. The chemical composition of the waters includes sulphate, silicon, chloride-sulphate, calcium-sodium; mineralization is 0.4-0.6 g/l. In the hollow of Utinnoye lake silt low mineralized and highly sulphate muds are formed. Mineralization of the mud solution is 2.1 g/l. The reserve of the medicinal mud is 180 thousand m3.

This area possesses relatively good for Kamchatsky Krai transport link connecting major settlements. It is located on the 126th kilometer of automobile road Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky – Milkovo. The area of Malkinskoye geothermal water deposit is located in the zone of moderate continental wet climate which is protected from activity of Pacific cyclones by Eastern Mountain Ridge and from influence of the Sea of Okhotsk by Seredinny Mountain Ridge.

Product to be manufactured (production capacity)

Annual capacity:
– head office and café for 50 seats;
– hotel complex for 300 seats;
– area for inhabitancy for 100 seats, consists of 20 five-seater houses;
– 2 parking lots for 60 cars with covered parking for 10 cars;
– shop of 100m²;
– 2 checkpoints.
Seasonal (summer) capacity:

The projected capacity of the main lodgings at 70 % of the traffic implies the service of more than 6000 people in the case of daily services average price in the limits of 2500 (accommodation and basic course of treatment, other services are charged supplementary). Services: therapeutic, alternative methods of treatment (reflex therapy, acupuncture, and massage); bracing sport programs (dances, fitness, aerobics, swimming, sport games), summer tourist activities (walking journeys and horse-riding tours, rafting, ascends), and winter tourism (mountain ski track, skiing).
