Over the past two decades SMW Engineering (SMW), has become the world-leading manufacturer of wrought magnesium alloy components, primarily wheels. SMW proprietary closed-die net-shape forging process ensures the desired metal flow with directional fiber positioning, with higher degree of deformation for optimal grain structure. There is not flow-forming (spinning) involved; we produce only true-forged wheels. This results in superior metallurgical characteristics and improved mechanical properties. Our proprietary billet casting technology ensures ultra-small grain size and thus enhanced strength, stiffness and fatigue characteristics of the finished part. SMW is the selected manufacturer for the most reputable wheels brands. All Ducati motorcycles’ magnesium wheels are forged by SMW. Geyzer has developed Aragon (Patent no. 2203721) – a unique filtering material that has no analogs in the world. This material provides high degree of water purification and removal of not only common contaminants, but also bacteria, viruses, radio nuclides, and heavy metals. After being treated by an Aragon Bio cartridge water can be used for drinking without boiling.
In 2013 Geyzer developed a new fibrous ion-exchange material called Catalon (Patent no. 2531821). Catalon removes heavy metals (lead, iron, manganese, etc.), organic compounds and nitrates; it also reduces water hardness. Another important feature of Catalon is that it removes viruses completely without any bactericidal additives or reagents remaining.
