On October 11, 2016 took place the presentation of all-terrain vehicles of the Russian company LLC TINGER for potential Swedish customers. The presentation was organized by the JCR Automotive AB. Company is planning to export TINGER ATV to the Swedish market. Trade Representation of the Russian Federation took an active part in this event.

EURASIAN WEEK

The Eurasian Week Forum & Expo is an annual event held by the Eurasian Economic Union Member States and the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The Forum is designed as an effective dialogue platform, where businesses, academia and governments of the EAEU Member States and the third countries could meet to discuss the key issues of economic development in the context of global challenges and to elaborate strategic decisions.
2016 Eurasian Week will be held on 26-28* of October, on the margins of the Russian Annual Open Innovations Forum at the Skolkovo Innovation Center, Moscow.
Following the theme of the event “EAEU in the global innovation agenda’* the Forum will unite tech entrepreneurs.
The Forum agenda will include the following topics:
• Eurasian technological platforms development,
• Union’s single market formation,
• Member States companies’ industrial cooperation,
• High-tech export development.
The Forum will focus on strengthening a dialog between business community and international organizations representatives, governmental authorities of the Eurasian Economic Union Member States and the Eurasian Economic Commission. It will also provide opportunities for developing business contacts with state authorities and businesses of the third countries – partners of the Eurasian Economic Union, i.e. Israel, Republic of Korea, Singapore, China, India, Viet Nam, Egypt, Iran, Chili, EU, MERCOSUR and ASEAN Members, etc.

The 1st World Grain Forum, held in 2009 in St. Petersburg on the initiative of the President of the Russian Federation and with the support of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, was the biggest business event of the grain market and an authoritative platform for discussing global food security
The 2nd World Grain Forum is to be attended by about 2500 people, including official delegations from more than 50 foreign countries, heads of international organizations and financial institutions, Russian and foreign agribusinesses, the world’s leading scientists and analysts, about 250 representatives of Russian and foreign media.
The Forum will provide a unique opportunity for business networking, exchange of opinions and ideas between government officials from the participating countries, representatives of international organisations, the business community, the media and civil society, leading world experts and scientific figures.
The Forum will include summit meetings between the heads of foreign delegations and international organisations, representatives of Russian and global agricultural businesses.
 

Forum tasks

  1. To conduct a constructive dialogue between representatives of international humanitarian and other public organisations, national governments, businessmen, scientists, investors and experts interested in developing and implementing strategic projects and initiatives in the sphere of grain production and use.
  2. On the basis of a comprehensive assessment of the current state of and prospects for development of the global grain market, to formulate proposals to international organisations and associations (unions) of states and national governments for:
  • improving the grain trade;
  • creating conditions for implementing international infrastructure investment projects;
  • improving the regulation and price-setting system;
  • providing humanitarian food aid.
