The 5th International Business Summit (IBS) to be held in Nizhny Novgorod on 1-23 September, 2016.
The IBS is an event with a history of over 20 years which has proved to be an effective tool to set up new business contacts. The 2015 International Business Summit in figures is 93 Congress events covering the most urgent discussion topics, 8,000 participants from 48 Russian regions and 45 foreign countries as well as 62 billion rubles of investment to be made into the regional economy under 24 investment agreements signed during the IBS and some 4,000 new jobs to be created once the investment projects have been implemented.

The words ‘business summit’ reflect the core idea of the event as it places a premium on the interests of the business community, it being the driver for economic development.
The 5th International Business Summit is going to be an event to gather leading industry experts, economists and public leaders together. With the mission to improve the economic environment it is important to make predictions, however it is yet more crucial to develop concrete effective measures which will help business owners to adjust to new realities today, keep their business and make steps towards its further development.
The Business Summit is a platform which smoothly integrates exhibitions and congress events. Each participant gets a chance to present their projects and tell about the challenges and problems they will face when implementing it. The exhibition is based on the following pillars: ‘imports’, ‘exports’, ‘investment’, ‘commercial real estate’, ‘innovation’ and ‘tourism’ and is followed by a project catalog published to be a tool to promote the projects during the twelve months after the IBS.
