Participation of delegation of Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Sweden in a press conference of the Russian-Italian company Moby SPL

On April 4, 2017 Delegation of Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Kingdom of Sweden participated in a press conference of the Russian-Italian company Moby SPL which was held onboard of the “Princess Anastasia” ship and devoted to renewal of ferry traffic by St. Petersburg – Stockholm route.

Russian ferry company St. Peter Line and the Italian Moby S.p.A at the end of 2016 created JV Moby SPL for passenger, cargo and transport transportation between the capitals of countries of the Baltic region. At the same time both shipping companies work on a parity basis after merge.

During the press conference the Deputy of Trade Representative of the Russian Federation Mr.Frolov made welcome speech and expressed confidence that trade between our countries is a major component of our mutual economic development. It is an established fact that St. Peter Line contributes to increasing Russian export to Sweden via the Baltic Sea Route shipping. The Russian Trade Representation in Sweden as an integral part of the Russian public governance system has the same goals as our domestic institutes: we combat corruption and economic crimes, develop Russian export and attract investments.

Director of the Russian-Italian company Mr. Kotenev confirmed intention to continue effective cooperation with the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Sweden and readiness to participate in the “VII Russian-Swedish Economic Forum” at Trade Representation on November 22-24, 2017 and designed to promote forward development of the Russian-Swedish trade and economic relations.
