2007, having gained support of German specialists, Grunwald company began to manufacture some types of semitrailers, such as container carrier and tilt semitrailer under brand «Grunwald» at its own plant in Kaliningrad. The purpose of this plant was the production of line-haul semitrailers of German quality but in heavy-duty version for domestic roads. The German technologies had been adopted for a reason - in fact the German design engineers are the smartest in this branch.

At the exhibition Kom-Trans 2007 in Moscow the Grunwald curtain side semitrailer was introduced and appraised with highest grade by Russian and foreign colleagues. And it was no mere chance, since the the reinforced frame with the side members made of Swedish high-alloy and low-carbon steel and welded from both sides, became the main advantage of Grunwald branded vehicles. All above ensures firm behaviour of vehicles on the road in comparison with similar foreign products. All the products of Grunwald company positively compete with European vehicles.

At present the Grunwald plant produces more than fifteen models of semitrailers, and all of them are designed together with the leading German design engineers. The state-of-art technologies and a variety of own know-how are used in the production process to improve performance characteristics and endurance of the vehicles. It makes all Grunwald vehicles optimally suitable for Russian driving conditions and culture.

2009 was a highlight for the company, when the first dump semitrailer under brand Grunwald system Langendorf was manufactured in close cooperation with the German company Langendorf . Since 2010, the company has been manufacturing the dump bodies for truck chassis of European manufacturers under this brand. In 2011 the plant launched the production of container carrier with hydraulic hoist and tipping ability. Grunwald products are sold not only in Russia, but also in CIS countries.
«Grunwald» company cooperates closely with a number of German companies producing component parts: BPW, WABCO, JOST, HAAKON and other.
