Limited Liability Company SMTT. High Voltage Solutions ”was created in September 2011.
The construction of the transformer plant was carried out in record time - in just two years, with strict adherence to the schedule. In December 2013, the plant was put into pilot operation.
At the start of the project, the enterprise was renamed LLC Izhora Transformers, but later it was decided to rename it to Limited Liability Company SMTT. High-voltage solutions ".
The establishment of the enterprise is part of a business strategy aimed at expanding the range of products and creating energy-efficient and science-intensive products for the industry.
The high-voltage transformer plant was erected in the industrial zone "Metallostroy" (Kolpinsky district of St. Petersburg).
The main products of the plant are power transformers and autotransformers 110-750 kV with a capacity of over 25 MVA, including three-phase versions.
The design capacity of the plant is over 10,000 MVA per year.
The planned number of personnel is about 350 people.
The total investment in the construction of the plant amounted to about 5.5 billion rubles.
