In 1919 some handicraft works from the best masters of jeweller art have created an artel «Krasnoselsky handicraftsman». Since then the enterprise strictly observes century traditions, embodying them in ritually-ceremonial products, necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets, vases, cups, products of crockery group and finally filigree ― openwork weaving from a gold and silver wire. At the heart of each jewel from Krasnoselsky Juvelirprom the creative idea, the conceptual and sensual sense combined with originality, uniqueness, maintenance of century traditions and simultaneously modern tendencies lies. Not without reason during the visit in Kostroma region, summer of 2005 Vladimir Putin, having got acquainted with products of people who live in Krasnoe town, has expressed the admiration of one very capacious phrase: «Fantastic!».

Today Joint-stock company «Krasnoselsky Juvelirprom», perhaps the unique enterprise in Kostroma region, making fine interior, religious items and ornaments in the skanno-filigree techniques also with enamel use.
